MSB Choice Checking

MSB Choice does exactly what the name says. It gives our customers choices. MSB Choice requires a minimum of $50.00 to open. A charge of $30.00 will be applied to an account closed within 6 months of opening. The choice is yours! The following are some options you can choose to eliminate the monthly maintenance fee. 

Monthly maintenance fee - $3.00 unless you do one of the following: 

• Maintain a minimum daily balance of $300 or
• Have Direct Deposit into this account or
• Receive E-Statements

MSB Choice Checking features include:

• Unlimited check writing
• Checks held in safekeeping
• Six copies of checks free per year - $2.00 per check after six
• Monthly statement
• Unlimited Metamora State Bank ATM transactions
• Internet banking access

Thrifty Fifty Checking

Our Thrifty Fifty Checking account is designed with our customers 50 years old and over in mind. The only requirement with this account is that you have a debit card.

The following are some of the features you can enjoy with this new account:

• Free Checks (1 box per year, single, wallet safety checks)
• No monthly maintenance fee
• $50.00 minimum to open
• No Minimum balance requirements
• Unlimited check writing
• $30.00 fee if account is closed within six months of opening
• Monthly statement
• Unlimited Metamora State Bank ATM transactions
• Internet banking access with free Bill Pay
• Debit Card included

NOW Checking

Do you want checking with interest? Our NOW account pays a competitive tiered rate of interest depending on your balance and you may write as many checks as you want. The monthly fee is waived if you keep the required monthly minimum balance in your NOW account or savings account, and there are never any per-check or per-deposit charges. The minimum balance to open a NOW account is $50.00. These accounts pay interest as described in the "Rate Disclosure" page.

• This interest-bearing account has no monthly maintenance fee when either the minimum monthly balance is $1,000 or more in NOW Checking, or you have combined daily balances of $4,000 or more in all depository accounts.

Should neither of the above balances be maintained, the monthly maintenance fee would be $6.00. A charge of $30.00 will be applied to an account closed within 6 months of opening.
